| Tartalmi kivonat: | The thesis examines the influence of the traditions of Russian icon painting on 20th century (avant-garde) art. The artists of the Russian avant-garde organically integrated the iconographic principles of icon painting into their art, but reworked them according to their own artistic vision. For the two great creators of Hungarian art history, Béla Uitz and Lajos Vajda, rethinking the traditional interpretation of icons and their incisive presence in their life’s work also played an extremely important role. In presenting the two different artistic perspectives, the dissertation analyses in detail how Russian avant-garde artists influenced the development of the two artists and how they incorporated the phenomena of Russian and Serbian icon art into their art. A disszertáció az orosz ikonfestészet hagyományainak a 20. század (avantgárd) művészetére gyakorolt hatását vizsgálja. Az orosz avantgárd alkotói művészetükbe organikusan beépítették az ikonfestészet ikonográfiai elveit, miközben saját művészi látásmódjuk szerint átdolgozták azokat. A magyar művészettörténet két nagy alkotója, Uitz Béla és Vajda Lajos életművében szintén rendkívüli jelentőségre tett szert a hagyományos ikon-értelmezés újragondolása, és az adott életművön belüli hangsúlyos megjelenítése. A két különböző művészi látásmód bemutatása során részletesen elemzést olvashatunk arról, hogyan hatottak az orosz avantgardisták e két művész alkotói pályájára, illetve hogyan építették be művészetükbe az orosz és a szerb ikonművészet jelenségeit. |
