The diagnosis of the occuring diseases of tendon was based on physical examinations for a long time. Generally the diagnosis is unambigous without any other method. The examination of tendon with modern, real-time US equipment (high frequency transducer) can give important help in cases of incomplete and neglected complete rupture. US examination has decisive important in diseases causing differential diagnostic problems, thus in some cases of tendinitis. |
