| Tartalmi kivonat: | The migration of health care professionals is one of the most discussed topics within the scientific literature on international migration. The results of researches often depend on the level of analysis and the focus of the approaches. Thus, it is important to gain information on the various theories of migration – this makes possible to reveal their potentials and constraints. To this end, we conducted content analysis on the international literature focusing on the migration of health care professionals. According to our results, micro, meso and macro level approaches can be defined.
