Tartalmi kivonat: | The objective of this book is to describe the key elements and concepts of finance by guiding the reader with its question and answer structure later utilizable as exam questions as well. The book adheres to the following structure: the first two chapters define the key concepts of the financial system by answering questions about commercial banking, monetary policy and financial markets. The third chapter summarizes the basic facts about public finance. However, all of these findings are always embedded into the underlying socio-economic background, this is why chapter four underlines the historical consequences. In the last chapter system level dynamics are illustrated on a five-actor model featuring households, the corporate sector, foreign investors, commercial banks, state and central banks.
