Tartalmi kivonat:Within the following sketch about the history of the Jewish Race in the United States of America I intended to show the reader(s) those tendencies and political changes which led these extraordinarily mysterious people to the " New World ", why they came to that country and how they managed to make a living in the United States. I tried to emphasize the controversial aspects of the life of American Jewry such as the relatively peaceful and successful life of one of the world's oldest race in one of the youngest nations of the Earth. By collecting various history books in numerous libraries I tried to take as many data and things as possible into consideration in order to attempt to describe those fields of the American life where the American Jewry became extremely successful and those areas where they did not manage to make a killing, as well. If the question arises in the reader's mind whether what is the reason of choosing this relatively unknown and unpopular topic my answer is that I have always had an obsession about the United States of America and this caused that I became interested in the history of the race which gave the most prosperous and successful businessmen and the most well-known scientists of the U.S.A.. And finally it goes without saying that it is I alone who is responsible for all the errors, mistakes and mis-emphasis in the text of the following essay.
