Tartalmi kivonat: | In the first chapter my main aim is to introduce the history of this illustrious family. I am trying to highlight those qualities of some early Marlboroughs that can be spotting out in the character of Winston Spencer Churchill; with particular attention to his father: Lord Randolph Churchill. The second chapter is dedicated to the childhood of his, the early signs of his unusual temperament, which eventually caused his aversion to the normal grooves of education and life. I also mention the causes of his becoming a soldier. The third chapter is about his `early life'. Campaigns in Cuba, India and lastly in South Africa in which he took part as a fighting journalist or rather a writing soldier. This was also appeared in which he tried to prepare a seat for himself in Parliament. In the fourth chapter I try to put into limelight the most important events during the time of his being a Member of Parliament, mentioning criticism against him from some other similar offices. Both the fifth and sixth chapters are aimed to expose a piece of Churchill's private life. One is dedicated to his pastimes; including a wide range of varied activities. The other gives us a little insight into his relationships to women; showing a clearer picture of his character with the help of some women who, in this case, function as a mirror to us. |
