Tartalmi kivonat: | Present paper explores the possibility of combining foreign language teaching methods and approaches with reform pedagogy. This is done through the examination of their characteristics, principles and techniques. The aspects of comparison are as follow: the role of the teacher, the role and situation of the students, books, aids, and materials they use, the atmosphere in which they operate, their views on the learning process and on assessment. In the first part of the essay a brief description of the three most widely used reform-pedagogical trends in Hungary (Waldorf, Montessori and Freinet pedagogy) is given. In the second part their comparative analysis is conducted and at the end of the work three exemplary lesson plans are given so as to show how the results and findings of the comparison can be put into practice. |
