Tartalmi kivonat:Reading is an essential part of the teaching process. It is true that nowadays speaking is emphasised, but learning cannot be imagined without the help of reading. Unfortunately inside the classroom only a little part of the target language can be given to the students because ofthe limited number ofthe lessons, so the learners are in need of reading books at home. But reading happens not only outside the classroom but inside too. How can it be constructed, what steps should a teacher follow and how can a teacher motivate the children? How do our different purposes while reading affect the way we read? And if we managed to cover a reading text, does it mean that this is the end? Or how can we re-use the known texts? I have tried to find the answers to these questions in my thesis.
