Tartalmi kivonat: | This thesis examines the important role errors play in the foreign language learning and teaching process focusing on lexical and grammatical mistakes in spoken language. I will prove that a positive approach to error correction brings about self-awarness andimprovement in the learning process. Using contemporary resource books for language teachers and trainers, course texts on second language acquisition and my personal experiences during lesson observation and teaching practice, I will demonstrate that anyone who learns a foreign language will inevitably make mistakes on the way but that is a natural part of second language learning. |
