| Tartalmi kivonat: | This thesis deals with the possibilities of using a literary work in the teachinglearning process. This means that it is a practical work. I built a short story into a course for a group of sixth class students. A literary review is given after the brief introduction of the theme. In thissectionItry to point out how many advantages teacher can have by using literature inthe classroom and how to exploit the possibilities lying at the teacher's hands. In the second part of my thesis I write about circumstances of the course, the learners, the school, and some of my previous personal experiences. This descriptionhelps to understand the reasons of my choice. The third part of my thesis is about the questionnaire in which the students were interviewed about their free time activities, reading habits and their favourite activities in English lessons. Their answers and attitudes are analysed and a conclusion isdrawn. The main part of my thesis the description of how the literary work was built into the course. It can be observed a wide range of activities and exercises and methodswereused inthe teaching process. The success and effectiveness of the lessons are discussed. Finally, a conclusion is drawn, the methods and the whole process are evaluated. |
