Tartalmi kivonat:In my thesis I give the theoretical background of vocabulary teaching: what vocabulary is, why, whom, what and how to teach, the different approaches of vocabulary teaching and those factors which make learning easier: the role and personality of the teacher, presentation, practice and testing. In the end I write about the survey I did in an elemantary school, in Class 7 and 8, with which I would like to prove that there are several factors which influence the learning of vocabulary and the development of it: age, lesson number, family background, skills and abilities.
