Tartalmi kivonat:As a creative village pastor, Béla Csekes maintained excellent foreign relations for the benefit of his fellow pastors suffering grievances. He spoke several languages. He visited America, Canada, served in Bečej (Óbecse), Hungary, then returned to his narrower homeland. My aim is to build public awareness for his life-work, to make known the periodical called Református Világszemle (Reformed World Review), published by him, from which we can get an excellent picture of the situation of the Reformed Church in the 1930s, not only overseas, but also in South Slovakia, Transylvania, North Serbia and Croatia. It also reports extensively on the situation of the Reformed Church and its members living in Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
