Tey are important because of air quality and health. Tese bacteria are adapted to survive harsh conditions in the upper atmosphere. Tey can withstand high UV, starvation, low temperatures and low oxygen levels. Te research of these adaptations can lead to important discoveries in biotechnology. Tis is why I fnd It important to research these bacteria. Tat’s why I designed a way to collect microbes from the higher atmosphere with a high altitude ballon and do experiments with them. |
