Tartalmi kivonat: | The present study handles forced-migration-related poverty as a common legal and social challenge issue. Poverty is an inherent part of every society, its handling, extent and the impact of its factors outstandingly influence migration processes. Constant economic crisis, increased poverty, hunger and social inequality all contribute to the fact that millions of people are seeking a new homeland in the hope of better living conditions. Illegal migrants are mostly driven by poverty, as well as their own social disadvantage, which keeps being uncontrollable, despite broader and broader legal migration channels. Fight against poverty and inequality are characteristic to the African Continent and the Middle East in the first place, because these regions have limited innovation tools and therefore are not in a position to adequately handle conflicts leading to forced migration. Handling the poverty issue in underdeveloped countries is of outstanding importance to the European Union, because it contributes to social crisis management and eradication of deep poverty. |
