Tartalmi kivonat: | In this study I attempt to examine the common ground around our two main concepts and to show a theoretical aspect of the so called social contract. My findings are based upon the works of Thomas Hobbes and John Locke – with regards to their own personal views I try to interpret social contract as a form in the theory of contracts. There is a fundamental difference between the two philosophers' theories: in Hobbes' system the individual is rather a subject to the sovereign, while the aspects of Locke’s theory make his views to fit much more in a theoretical frame used by civil law. |
