Tartalmi kivonat: | The author has already written several books and papers on the history of Slavic states and the relation of Hungary to .the ones mentioned. This essay aims to demonstrate the most important sources of the topic: the fundamental events, charters and characters of the personal unions between the Realm of Hungary and Croatia (1002-1918) and the Realm of Poland and Lithuania (1386-1791). He also calls the attention to the Polish constitutional charter of 1791 which is regarded as the first codified state constitution in Europe. One can read about the most significant Slavic (mainly Croatian and Polish) special literatures and opinions connected with the common centuries or decades with the Hungarian Realm, and the author. emphasizes the importance of the Central European universities founded in the middle age, too. |
