Tartalmi kivonat:In this research my main goal was to present the parenting skills development and parenting programs available for prisoners on the international and domestic scene. In my opinion the topic is at least as innovative as it touches on current issues. Due to the fact that there are few studies in Hungarian, I basically based my research on the processing of the English literature. On the one hand, I was able to get a relatively comprehensive aspect of the programs offered to imprisoned parents an international context and I found that a wide variety of projects are available to detained parents, which at the same time have in common that they are basically aimed at acquiring various parenting skills and strengthening family ties. Ont he other hand I gathered the potential of the sessions on the side of both inmates and their children. The enumeration of these potential impacts clearly highlighted the positives, so in addition tot he need for various programs, I was also able to determine their effectiveness. An authentic and holistic presentation of the topic necessarily required the mapping of domestic project sas well. I am convinced that in the view of the successful reintegration of prisoners, there are efforts in the Hungarian penitentiary system to promote healthy parent-child relations. In the last part of my essay, I tried to outline the ideal image of the programs I considered ideal, selecting the positive features of the projects. I have found that reintegration solutions for detained parents, which develop parental competencies and raise childcare programs, are extremely innovative. On the whole, these projects are clearly contribute to easing the „invisible” marker in the title of the essay.
