| Tartalmi kivonat: | As a result of digitalisation the law is associated with informatics and becomes more and more significant. Legal informatics trends and the solutions are appreciated for the future. In my essay, I wish to present the views and knowledge of law students regarding legal informatics trends, highlights the challenges they may face in the future. The results of my research are based on quantitative – which involved 128 students – and qualitative, with 11 interviewees, data acquisition. There is a contradiction between the importance of legal informatics trends and reality from the viewpoint of law students, as students do not have sufficient knowledge of trends at all. This is supported by the fact that, based on the results of the questionnaire survey, 22 percent of the law students suppose the lawyer of the future in the same or similar way as nowadays, and four of the interviewees also represent this viewpoint possibly supplemented with informatics skills. The 78 percent of first-year law students appeal to Wikipedia as a source in their university work. Learning methodological issues have been given a prominent role, as it has also become apparent that some kind of aversion and distance from using informatics for the profession. In terms of technological knowledge, it has become evident that law students use the achievements of modern technology, but they have limited knowledge of the application purposes and functions, so the digital lawyer concept which means the competent using of informatics support, requires additional knowledge and attitude improvements. |
