Tartalmi kivonat:Choosing the topic of my treatise, my purpose was to write about the field of private law which is highly exposed to one of the determinants of the 21st century, that is digitalization. Based on this theme, I chose contract law the rules of which are most frequently applied, that is, why it should meet the demands arising in situations generated by the latest accomplishments of the modern world. The necessity of creating such a framework for contract law that fulfil the expectations of the digital era is among the main purposes of the European Union. One of the main priorities of the Digital Single Market Strategy presented by the European Committee in 2015 is the standardization of contract law. Two guiding principles have been proposed including the concept of conformity with the contract, the substance of which rises several questions to be answered. My treatise focuses on the investigation of the criteria of conformity with the contract. In the first part, I outline the elements of conformity with the contract with special regards to the Digital Single Market. After that, I take into consideration of and make comparison between previous European private law studies aimed at the generalization of contract law, then I analyse the details of Hungarian regularization. Finally, I make conclusions about the extent to which the concept of conformity with the contract can be used in European and Hungarian law and whether progress can be made in legislation concerning the matter of conformity with the contract.
