Tartalmi kivonat: | Popular culture is undergoing rapid and fundamental changes. The peasant social situation no longer exists, but the period of self-conscious religiosity has not arrived. Our best "popular" examples are only continuations of the Baroque age. We are faced with a crisis of content and form, intention and expression. Examples of the tasks ahead: In the opinion of the pastorisation committee of theAustrian episcopacy, together with the traditional order there is a need for lay participation. Gabriel le Bras professor of sociology from Paris, Kl. Brockmöller and Hungarian sociologist Miklós Tomka call for the application of the results of their discipline. In 2001 the Vatican issued a directory on popular piety, and urged the priesthood to preserve it and handle it correctly. So far there has been no action in Hungary. |
