Tartalmi kivonat:More and more people are drawn to the silence and the visual elements of the church. Experiencing tranquility is the most determinant factor for them, as a sense of tranquility is required in order to develop the atmosphere of devotion. I have examined the emotional world of three individuals. Faith and devotion are present in the lives of all three persons. Their experiences were created through the visual elements. The meaning that the individual bestows on these visual experiences lends a magical power to the creative works. In this way the sensory experience gains increasingly more value. Artistic consciousness does not over- . power the experiences. Dreams are as important in this regard as the sacred objects found in cultic places. I quote two dreams by Piroska Török. "The Virgin Mother stood by my bedside and told me that my husband will returnfrom the war in one hundred days. Isaw her and I heard her voice. To hear the voice of the Virgin Mother was an immense privilege. And another time I dreamt ofJesus, ofhim kneeling, the cross on his back, like this (she kneels down to show me). I asked him ifI could help him, but he made no answer. It was so beautiful, because he looked at me. These were the most beautiful dreams in my life. I often see this image, flashing before my eyes."
