Tartalmi kivonat:The Roman Catholic church in Aba was built (1748-1754) by Jesuit convent of Székesfehérvár. The ground-lpan of the building is an equilateral triangle, which is unique in Hungary. Making of the furnitures was finished in 1769 but the works of the side altars weren't completed untill the disbanding of the order. The monumental work, led by Father Ló'rinc Petrasics, is a great baroque artistic constuction which propagates in all details the glory of the Holy Trinity. In the equilateral triangle there is a circle, whic embodies the essence of the Catholic dogma, the unique God consists of three persons: the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. In the ridge turret the biggest bell was also consecrated to the Holy Trinity, and the windows are arranged in groups of three, too. The Holy Trinity appears on the dome fresco as well: the Blessed Virgin and St. Francis from Xaver are paying homage to Him Surrounded by fifteen angels arranged in three groups. Even in the main altar picture portraying the heavenly and an earthy Trinity. In his essay the author, apart from this church in Aba, introduces some other chapels with equilaterial triangle ground-plans.
