| Tartalmi kivonat: | The topic of this study is closely connected to the fate of the young generation of World War I. They became wounded or disabled soldiers, warorphans and the most vulnerable group of the society. Their real story is a hardly searched issue of Hungarian history. Some of them were so young that they should have started their studies in one of the university during the years of war. Instead of this, they went to the battlefield and come back home with several physical and mental injuries. Therefore they went to the universities at the same time and tried to graduate. Afterwards, at the mid-thirties of the century lot of students had war invalid father, or they were orphans of war. All of them had to face extraordinary difficulties in order to be able to pay the costs of their studies. This study tell about all those efforts which happened in order to help them. |
