| Tartalmi kivonat: | I demonstrate the neolog’s community strategy in the first world war trough the Pajzs és Vért soldier’s prayerbook. In my paper I examine how the neology groups react the new phenomenons of the war, and which former cultural samples they used for creating their new attitude. For the examination of this phenomenon, I demonstrate the representations of the reinterpreted tradition, the Hungarian civil religion, the loyalty for the Dynasty, the war propaganda and the elements of judaism in the prayerbook. Although the neolog group strategy has already formed in the end of the 19th century, in the new situation caused by the war, the aspects of identity manifested more clearly. For this reason the phenomenons could interpreted as a parts of a greater history of mentalities’s process. The determinative ideology of the era, the civil religion, and the cultural memory served as the frame for interpretation. |
