Tartalmi kivonat:I wrote my paper in the field of political and military history of the Jagiellonian age. While the research of foreign relations between Hungary and Poland considered to be important, their late medievel clashes, primarily the military operations of John Albert are underrepresented. Since the death of Matthias three pretenders: Wladislaus, king of the Czech lands, the German king Maximilian I and Polish prince John Albert fought for the throne. While the ambitions of House of Habsburg in the last three decades are revealed due to the study of sources, only fewer pieces of written work discussed the Jagiellonians' political activity, not to mention the latter feud. How could the Kingdom of Hungary's military successes be possible in a three-front war? Why did Wladislaus draw a comparison beetwen the Hussites and his younger brother? After a historical overview I tried to characterise the clashes and the system of the Upper Hungarian territories temporarily occupied by the Polish.
