The question might be simple, but the common answers are confusing. From one point of view culture affects more or less every aspects of one’s behavior, incuding his or her consumption as well. However form another point of view nowdays consumer culture obliterates cultural borders. In this paper I present McCrackens theoretic cultural model and confront it with empirical findings of Tropenaars, Hofstede and Rappaille. My purpose with this paper is to articulate the importance of interdisciplinarism in nowdays management. |
