| Tartalmi kivonat: | Resumen: El artículo repasa algunos capítulos del proceso político en el Uruguay del fin de la década de los 60 y la primera mitad de los 70, siguiendo el hilo conductor que ofrece la vida del pastor reformado de origen húngaro, Attila Nagy que vivió de cerca el autoritarismo de la dictadura militar y de los gobiernos anteriores, eso sí, no solo como un observador pasivo de los acontecimientos. Más allá de ser un pastor influenciado por la teología de la liberación, también mantuvo una actuación política que finalmente le obligó a abandonar el país para salvar su vida y la de su familia. Palabras clave: dictadura, iglesia, marxismo, teología, historia Abstract: The article follows some phases of the political process in Uruguay by the end of the 60’ decade and the first part of the 70s, along the thread of a reformed minister’s life. Attila Nagy, born Hungarian, lived part of his life under the weight of the repression exerted by the military dictatorship and by previous governments as well. But he was not a mere passive witness. As a minister experiencing the ideas of the Theology of the Liberation he assumed an increasingly active political stand by which he was in the end bound to leave the country in order to save his life and his family. |
