| Tartalmi kivonat: | The paper deals with the fimctioning of verbal aspect in Ukrainian. The study is intended fór people who leam Ukrainian as a foreign language and fór those who teach foreigners Ukrainian. In this research an attempt has been made to systematize basic communicative contexts o f using imperfective and perfective verbs in their past-tense forms. The aspectual distinctions between the two verbal forms have been illustrated in actual communicative contexts in an accessible way and the criteria o f using the two verbal aspectual forms have been indicated. |
