Summary:This study is the introductory part of my prospective research at the PhD studies. Its topic and target is neither an analysis nor interpretation of a literary or art work, but an elaborated and useable system which aims to examine of the connection between literary and regionality. The phrase „regionality” − which is a not valued enough point of view in the national literary history writing – is generally used as the complex interrelations of geographical specialities and literary system. The main intent of the paper is show that regionality as a precept how to appeared in the tradition of Hungarian literary history writing and furthermore present examples of the presence of regional representations, narratives from the Hungarian literature of the19th century.
