These territories suffered much in the 16th century because of the wars between the Habsburgs and the Ottoman Turks. Therefore, we do not have a lot of historical resources from this time. The territory of Southern Bácska was many times from 1526 to 1606. a war zone where the Habsburgs, Hungarians and Ottoman Turks fought many battles. The aim of this study is to present these struggles between the Christians and the Muslim Turks. |
