Tartalmi kivonat:The authors investigate the glottal stop in the Enets language. After summing up the linguistic debate concerning the glottal stop, they point out that in Enets there must be two different types of glottal stops. Their method is the following: the reduction of the Enets glottal stops in end position is a well known tendency. The authors assumed that insofar as there is a phonetic difference between the t and n based glottal stops, the degree of reduction will not be the same. Thus, they contrasted the morphemes of PINom : SgGen and P\Pll-2 : P.\P13 by nominals and VxPll-2 : VxP13 by verbs. From the differences in disappearance, they found that there is a phonetic difference between the realization of "nasal" and "oral" glottal stops in modern Enets.
