Tartalmi kivonat: | Adopting the semantic description that K. FÁBRICZ (1985-86) gives about már 'already' and még 'still' this paper examines their aspectual behavior. The tests show that már can be used both in perfective and imperfective clauses, as well as in sentences with existential readings. In the latter ones már usually follows the verb. Még mindig 'still' can only be used in imperfective units. As a result of that it supplies lower-level perfective structures with the feature ot iterativity. On the other hand, imperfective expressions are often interpreted as unitary actions. |
