Th ree topics are successively discussed. Th e fi rst part considers the legal studies, especially at the University of Angers where law schools were organized from the 13th century. Th e second section focuses on the careers of the clergy (university teaching, service of Church and States). Th e last part is devoted to the study of the private and institutional libraries (abbeys and cathedrals). |
