Tartalmi kivonat:The main character of this study is a member of the officer corps of the Royal Hungarian Army until 1945, who was sentenced to imprisonment in 1953. The trial itself belongs to the series of processes based on concepts against military officers launched in the Rákosi era. Among the surviving documents reports of the cell networks can also be found, which were prepared by cell mates, who managed to gain the confidence of the detained person, and reported about his mood and statements in connection with his process. These documents complete the story evolving on the basis of inter. rogation plans and minutes, according to which F. S. had become a prisoner of war in the hands of the western powers, where he was indoctrinated to perform spy activities against Hungary. In his case it was always the main point on the basis of what accusations could they sentence him, and not the issue whether he was guilty or not, so the documents illustrate the fact that evén in the case of a trial based on concept they held it important to preserve the pretence of legality.
