Tartalmi kivonat: | Fluorite-barite-massive sulphide mineralization has been noted in the Jurassic carbonate rocks at various localities in the collisional belt of Pakistan. Fluorite deposits are in the central part of the belt mainly in Kalat region while barite mineralization characterizes southern part of the belt. Sulphide minerals, of which only galena is notable, are associated with barite deposits. The characteristics and behaviour of fluorite deposits of Kalat region alongwith those of barite-massive sulphide deposits of the belt suggest a sedimentary origin of Mississippi-valley type. |
