The large influx of migrants in 2015 will be the main axes to show the state of play of migration policy, the evolution of European legislation in this area, the actions undertaken as well as the issues that lead the debate in European immigration policy. Several judgments of the Court of Justice of the EU and of the European Court of Human Rights will also be analyzed in order to show their determining role in the legal framework of the migration phenomenon. The course will be organized around five axes: the emergence of a European asylum and immigration policy, legal immigration, the management of the EU's external borders, asylum policy and the question of outsourcing and sub-contracting the control of migration in Europe | |
