The state did not prohibit the foundation of cartels, but wanted to supervise their activities. From the point of view of Hungarian codification, the development of Austrian cartel law in the 19th century should be highlighted, which influenced the Hungarian cartel movement. Our public law relationship with Austria and the economic cooperation between the two countries have indeed justified the consideration of the Austrian codification results in the regulation of Hungarian cartel law. The regulation of cartel law in Europe has been significantly influenced by the economic and political changes of the post-World War I period, which led to the use of cartel supervisory institutions. | |
