Nach Festellung der Extinktion gibt ein Graphikon sofort den prozentuellen Wirkstoffgehalt an Ein durchsichtiges Präparat kann zur Messung unmittelbar verwendet werden, Emulsionen müssen erst mit wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat behandelt werden, hernach gelangt die mit Petroläther verfertigte Lösung - dieselbe enthält das Azulen - zur Prüfung. Die beschriebene Methode gibt bei kosmetischen Erzeugnissen hinreichend genaue Resultate. The determination of azulene in cosmetic preparations with the Pulfrich photometer is described. After measuring the extinction value, the percentage of active ingredient can immediately be read from a previously plotted graph. Transparent preparations can directly be used for measurement. In the case of emulsions, they are to be decomposed with anhydrous sodium sulphate, and extracted with petrolether. Azulene is subsequently determined in the petrolether extract. By the described method, azulene contents can be determined with an accuracy which satisfies the requirements in the case of cosmetic preparations. L’article décrit le dosage de Fazuline dans les préparations cosmétiques par le photométre de Pulfrich. Aprés la determination de l’extinction I’on obtient immediatement la teneur en pourcent de la matiére active á Pacidé d’un graphique préalablement établi. Les préparations transparentes peuvent étre employees directement pour le dosage; les emulsions doivent étre d’abord décomposées avec du sulfate de sodium anhydre, puis on dose l’azuline dans la solution á l’éther de pétrole. La méthode décrite donne des résultats satisfaisants avec les préparations cosmétiques. | |
