Tartalmi kivonat: | Dino Grandi (1895–1988) was a prominent figure of the National Fascist Party in Italy: he was under-secretary of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Italian embassador to London, Minister of Justice, and, last but not least, he was the one whose order of the day led to the failure of Benito Mussolini and the Fascism in 1943. Because of these activities, I think it is important to present his character and political thoughts to those Hungarian readers who are interested in diplomacy, history and International Relations, and in getting acquainted with the life of historical personalities. Grandi, according to his coevals, was one of the most intelligent politicians of Europe in the Interwar Period, who was able to increase the international prestige of the Fascist regime. In my paper – which is a chapter from my book in progress – I present Grandi’s conception on the aims and principles of the Fascist movement, which helps us to understand better not only the life and personality of Grandi, but also the ideology of Fascism. |
