It was written by István Font (1896-??) for his daughter and her descendants to make the ancestor's life easier to survey and to make it possible to keep records of all the relatives. After outlining the general folkloristic question of peasant writing and autobiographies, I briefly summarize the content of the manuscript of family history. In the study, I interpret and analyze the manuscript as a personal recollection and as a deliberate attempt to create a family history. | |
