The study gives a snapshot about the internment camp of Vác between 1914 and 1916. In this picturesque town more than one thousand persons with diffrent citizenship were held under police survellience. With the help of the sources we can get picutre about the everyday life in the camp, the hardships of the internee being and the relationship shaped between the locals and internees. At the same time we get to know the process of the internment and last but not least authorities reactions with detained persons. | |
