Previous investigations were limited to only specific parts or only some urban canyons and used low amount of sites and occasions of measurements. Our study utilizes a large number of areal means of sky view factor and air temperature related to a large sample area in the city and based on numerous measurements. According to the results, there is a strong relationship in the intra-urban variations of these variables. Therefore, investigations of sufficient number of appropriate-sized areas, covering large parts of a city, are needed to draw well-established conclusions on the studied relationship. | |
