Bei der Erkennung der Perthesschen Krankhéit hat das Röntgenbild eine ausschlaggebende Bedeutung, da dessen richtige Beurteilung die klinische Diagnose meistens sicherstellt. Die Differenzierung gegenüber der Coxitis tbc. kann im Anfangsstadium des Krankheitsprozesses ausserordentlich schwer, ja unmöglich werden. Summary: In view of the fact that nearly 20% of casics of hip joint diseases have been identified as Perthes’s disease, this short review offers our knowledge upon this malady of unknown origine based chiefly on data obtained from recent publications. In the discovery of Perthes’s disease X-ray examination has a particular importance as correct appreciation of radiographic pictures will usually decide diagnoss. The chief trouble is represented by diffehenciating it from Tuberculosis of the hip joint, while often the beginning stage of this leson differenciation may be very hard if not impossible. | |
