   <subfield code="a">Competitiveness is a very important factor for local governments. That’s why my aim is looking for a connection between the organization culture and the competitiveness of the region’s governments. In my research I suppose the quality of governance and the organizational culture of local governments have decisive role in enhancement the region’s competitiveness. I used the GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organisational Behaviour Effectiveness) questionnaire for examination of the organizational culture which was used in the „Competing with the World ‚research program in the Corvinus University of Budapest. Koopman, Den Hartog, Konrad and theirs co-authors (1999) examined the change factors for 21 European countries in business organizations.</subfield>
