Summary:This paper describes and illustrates 45 agglutinated foraminiferal species recorded, for the first time, from the Qusseir Shales in Gebel Abu Had and Duwi, Eastern Desert, Egypt. Through the analysis of the reported fauna, 4 agglutinated zones were proposed and defined. On the basis of these biozones, the age of the Qusseir Shales is assigned to Campanian and Maestrichtian.
